Biscuits and Blueberries for Breakfast
Saturday and Sunday mornings are for Food Network and coffee. Weekends also mean that the dog wakes me up early (maybe she’s just training me for future kiddos) around 6:30 or 7a. So I get myself up and out of bed, make my coffee, feed the dog, and take her for her morning walk. After checking emails and surfing Instagram for far too long, I usually turn on Food Network to see what’s cooking, literally.
Craving Salty Turtle Sundae

Sexy Strawberries on a Budget
Valentine’s Day is a few days away and love is in the air! We are budgeting and trying to save our dollar bills right now so we decided to have a romantic dinner at home. Baking Muffins like CRAZY

Grainy Granola’s Bad Rap
Years ago, I was at a bar in San Diego, watching a Laker game, wearing my Sunday whites jersey, and started discussing the game with a group of gentlemen. One of the guys started talking about his wife and he described her as “kinda granola”….WHAT?! Ok, A. who describes anyone, particularly a spouse, as “granola”? and B. what does that even mean?! I thought it was hilarious. He used crunchy, hippie, grain-filled, nut-filled snack food to describe his wife. Goodness, I hope my husband never describes me as a food…unless it’s pizza, everyone loves pizza, it’s delicious.
