It is so easy to find the easy way out of something difficult. We are so good at making excuses when we don’t want to do something. When it comes to getting and staying healthy–physically and mentally–the necessary to-do’s seem so difficult to do. Why not just make an excuse instead of making things happen? Excuses are so much easier.
Excuses don’t get anything done. Excuses don’t get you to where you want to be. Excuses don’t get to you to where you need to be. It is tough to wake up earlier than you want to in order to fit exercise into your day. It isn’t always easy to choose the healthier food option when there is a platter of sweet treats sitting in front of you. But making excuses to NOT do these things does not make it any easy make the progress and find the success you truly want.
Stop making excuses and start making things happen. What are the excuses you make everyday? what is more important than getting and staying healthy? (hint: not much) It’s all about DOING in order to get to where you want to go. No excuses…even when it’s hard.
